Your tasks
  • Creation of system layouts for conveyor technology in the automo-tive industry with a focus on body shop, paint shop and final assembly
  • Implementation of layouts according to customer specifications and internal coordination
  • Adoption of existing conveyor technology and system components in layouts
  • Measurement at the customer’s site
  • Using different conversion steps to create layouts
  • Support for the creation of customer specifications
  • Collision comparison of layouts
  • Documentation of various layouts in the customer system
  • Coordination / comparison of layouts across trades in the preliminary planning phase
  • Interface coordination over the entire project period with neighboring trades, suppliers and customers
Your profile
  • Engineering education/background, construction or technical draftsman
  • Professional experience in the automotive industry in the area of layout planning
  • Knowledge of layout planning
  • Very good conceptual, methodological and analytical skills
  • Independent, structured work ethic and solution-oriented approach
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Proven professional demeanor
  • Personal initiative, communication skills, the ability to deal with conflict and assertiveness as well as determination in the pursuit of solutions
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Solid grasp of CAD layout programs: Microstation, TriCad, LuArtX and/or Auto-CAD
  • Knowledge of NavisWorks or Interviews3D a bonus
